Whatever age we are, cute and lovely books for children seem to amaze and charm us forever and ever. In this post, I’d like to share a glance at another bunch of them and add another name to the Bookmarin gallery of book illustrators. This time it’s Jane Chapman, a British children’s book writer and illustrator whose artistic heritage of over 25 years in the industry counts over a good hundred books for kids and is growing. She studied illustration at Brighton University and now lives and works in a small village in Dorset. For some time, she also illustrated books for children under the pseudonym John Tickle and did it in a visual style that was different from the original Jane Chapman’s illustration approach. Today, the kind, cute, and lovely stories with her beautiful illustrations are translated into many various languages, and known and loved by little readers and their parents in different corners of the world. Let’s enjoy some of them here and add a pinch of love and kindness to our day.
